In addition to H Oil & Minerals, the H Oil Group has long been active and has built an excellent reputation in large-scale infrastructure projects for governments and their subsidiaries. Through its infrastructure subsidiary H.O.M.T. Ltd, the H Oil Group serves as general contractor to build, manage and implement turnkey infrastructure and other capital goods export projects throughout Africa and the Balkans.
In the period 2007-2008, H.O.M.T. Ltd has more than $700 million of infrastructure projects underway.
H.O.M.T. Ltd. has an excellent track record of attracting first-line international subcontractor partners to ensure H.O.M.T. meets all technical requirements of a particular project and can deliver world-class results to the business leaders with whom it works. Recent partners include EADS/Astrium, ACS/Dragados or Ferrovial. H.O.M.T. has also received Prime Contractor status from Alcatel-Lucent and Indra.
In all its activities, the H Oil Group appreciates the importance of structuring and implementing financial solutions for its clients. We are able to work closely with governments to set up guarantees which are both acceptable for the client and sufficient for international project financiers. Some of the Group’s recent financial partners have included Société Generale, Deutsche Bank and the European Bank for Reconstruction & Development (EBRD).
